Information notice - commercial prospecting

This notice is addressed to people whose professional contact details we obtained from public sources, rather than from them directly. It constitutes the information required by Article 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

For data you send us yourself - contact form, call, appointment - our privacy policy applies instead.

The controller’s postal address is provided on request, by email. It is also publicly available from the Quebec enterprise registry (Registre des entreprises du Québec), under the name Groupe ABSD Inc.

2. Categories of data processed

Company name, professional email address, website, professional phone number, business address, industry, and where applicable the name and role of a professional contact.

No sensitive data is processed. No automated decision producing legal effects is made.

3. Source of the data

Public sources: Google Maps business listings, published pages of company websites (legal notices, “contact” pages), and publicly accessible professional directories.

The data does not come from the data subject.

4. Purpose

To contact businesses that may be interested in custom AI voice agents, and to offer them a trial or a meeting.

5. Legal basis

Legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR): direct commercial prospecting sent to a professional address, on a subject related to the recipient’s role.

The balancing test has been documented: strictly professional data, limited volume, objection possible at any time in one click.

6. Recipients and transfers

Konectiz, its email delivery provider (Instantly, United States), its infrastructure host (Hostinger, Boston data centre, United States), and its database.

The data is hosted in the United States. Transfers outside the European Union rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention period

24 months from the last contact, or immediately upon objection.

Where you object, the address is then kept on a suppression list, for the sole purpose of not contacting you again.

8. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability.

You may object at any time, without giving a reason, using the unsubscribe link in every message or by writing to us.

You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (France), the APD (Belgium) or the ICO (United Kingdom).

9. When this information is provided to you

At the latest with the first message we send you, in accordance with Article 14.3.b of the GDPR.
